		<description><![CDATA[I think you are a little off on the US income tax - the income tax in the US is way above 4.3%. In fact, according to wikipedia the marginal tax rate for those earning above $357K is 35%. This is much higher than in Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_tax_in_the_United_States#Year_2010_income_brackets_and_tax_rates) and does not include payroll taxes (medicare and social security) which amount to approx. 4.3%, and state taxes, which tend to vary but are comparable with our provincial income taxes. So not taking into account deductions, it actually seems more monetarily favorable for an athlete to work in Canada as we have lower taxes.]]></description>
