He was definitely dynamic during games, and some of his off court behaviour (his blog, with the press) was funny at times, though very childish.

Of course all of that ended with his injury in 2007. I believe this is when Gilbert The Entertainer ceased to exist. Kinda hard to keep that swag (can’t believe i just used that word) when you’re spending the season rehabbing. Consecutive playoff loses to the Cavs will quiet you down as well.

I’m glad he was able to return from his injuries and still be productive, but the entertainer we knew from years past is defintiely gone; instead replaced by someone who befuddles us with his strange behavior.

This new Gilbert I will not miss.
